Fabrication and installation of natural stones through Marmol Export, USA is currently available only through our Anaheim location. However, the following can provide you with general information about the fabrication and installation of natural stones helpful to your project.

Fabrication is the process whereby the stone that you have selected is cut to the size, shape and detail specification of your project. The first step involves our installation experts going to the job site and making a template to ensure an accurate fit. Fabrication could include manufacturing the finish on the surface of the stone, the shape of the cut and the edge details on the exposed edges of the stone. It could also involve the cutting of any holes or shapes necessary for your project such as those for mounting a sink or an appliance like a cooktop. At Marmol Export, USA, the cutting of holes for faucets is done at the job site based on the location specified by the customer at the time of installation. For stone tile fabrication, this process could include the preparation of special stone patterns, edging, finishes, or accent pieces specified by the project.

Installation takes place when the fabricated stone is brought to the location of the project and mounted on properly prepared surface such as the floor or plywood on top of kitchen base cabinets. This could include the demolition of the existing materials and the preparation of the surface on which the stone will be installed depending on your contractual agreement with Marmol Export USA. At Marmol Export, USA, our installation process includes the sealing of your stone so that it can be ready for use. Resealing is usually a necessary process for most stones in order to preserve the finish of the stone once the initial layer of sealant has worn off.
